National Empty Homes Week 2019

National Empty Homes Week will take place from Monday 23 September to 29th September 2019.

Every year local authorities, housing providers, community-led organisations and others see Empty Homes Week as an opportunity to organise events and put out information so that people know about their work to tackle empty homes.  Empty Homes Week is also the chance to celebrate successes and reflect on what more needs to be done to bring empty properties back into use to help meet housing needs.

To coincide with Empty Homes Week, The Empty Homes Network will holding its National Empty Homes Conference on the 25th September, 2019 in Birmingham featuring a wide range of informative sessions and guest speakers.

No Use Empty are supporting the event and will be updating our website with new case studies featuring our most recent projects.

NUE Looking Ahead

We continue to work with our partners and seek out opportunities to bring long term empty properties back into use as residential accommodation.

On 15th July 2019 the Leader of Kent County Council confirmed approval to support the No Use Empty initiative to at least March 2022 with a further update to be provided.
