The UK Housing Awards were established in 1997, to recognise excellence across the housing sector.

The UK Housing Awards are the longest established and most respected awards in the social housing sector, recognising the ingenuity, creativity, passion and results of housing organisations and individuals across the UK.

This showcase for excellence in social housing is organised jointly by the CIH and Inside Housing. The event attracted 700 senior executives in 2011 and were presented by Michael Portillo, the British journalist, broadcaster and former Cabinet Minister. Now in their 16th year, the awards have been relaunched to reflect the priorities and challenges of the sector.

The awards ceremony will be held in London on 27 June 2012 at the Hilton Hotel.
