No Use Empty are proud to have supported the redevelopment of the site where the former Swiss Cottage pub once stood in King Street, Ramsgate.
The property had been empty for more than a decade and after a change of ownership Greenfinches Residential Services Limited approached NUE to help support the new build development following demolition.
The site had become a dumping ground, attracting rats which were then getting into neighboring properties. Young people were also frequently trespassing at the site.
A new planning application was approved in September 2020 by Thanet District Council. Thanks to our intervention a brand new three storey building incorporating 12 x 2 bed and 2 x 1bed flats has been created.
All apartments have video door entry system, spacious kitchen/diner with integrated fridge/freezer, integrated washing machine and integrated dishwasher, a lovely modern family bathroom and great storage cupboard/s and each and every resident is welcome to access the roof top terrace.
NUE very much hope that this will project will encourage further regeneration in this part of the town.
