No Use Empty have assisted local developers Beau Property in refurbishing 8 empty and derelict properties back up to the decent homes standard.

The Nevill Terrace development is 4 townhouses currently arranged as 8 apartments which were all in a bad state of repair. Beau Property have put life back into the tired buildings and restored them back to their best creating 8 Finely Crafted Modern Victorian Homes.

Beau Property said “We are delighted to be supported by the No Use Empty Initiative which strives to improve the physical urban environment in Kent, by bringing empty properties back into use as quality housing accommodation”.

No Use Empty’s traditional loan scheme which aims to bring empty derelict properties back into use via interest free loans enabled this project to come to fruition.

Beau Property won an award from the Royal Tunbridge Wells Civic Society for ‘Refurbishment and conversion to Apartments’ and  shortlisted in the category for ‘Best refurbishment project; at the National House Builder Awards 2022.

A number of positive outcomes have also been created from the No Use Empty traditional scheme such as the creation of jobs, homes, council tax receipts and local spend on materials.
